The HobbyZone Apprentice STOL S 700mm is a remarkable ultra-micro trainer designed to cater to both novice pilots and experienced instructors. This scaled-down version of the popular Apprentice models maintains the iconic STOL capabilities similar to the renowned E-flite Timber series. Its compact size allows for versatile flying in various spaces, from yards to sports fields. With SAFE technology, learning to fly is made accessible and secure, ensuring a smooth progression from beginner to advanced maneuvers.
Engineered with precision, the Apprentice STOL S 700mm features a robust brushless motor, ESC, receiver, and servos, all factory-installed within its durable EPO airframe. The removable wing adds convenience for transport and storage. Whether you're taking off from paved surfaces or grassy fields, the taildragger landing gear and oversized tires provide exceptional takeoff capabilities. With power and stability, this aircraft can handle winds up to 5 mph, surpassing the limitations of other ultra-micro trainers. The 4-channel control system, complemented by SAFE technology, offers versatile flight modes for seamless skill development, including aerobatics like loops, rolls, and inverted flight.
The Ready-To-Fly (RTF) version includes a Spektrum SLT6 2.4GHz controller, a rechargeable LiPo battery, and a USB-C charger. Everything you need to embark on your flying journey is included in the box. Additionally, the package comes with a Steam key to download a trial version of the RealFlight Trainer Edition RC flight simulator. This simulator offers a valuable opportunity for practice, allowing new pilots to hone their skills before taking to the skies. For experienced pilots, a Bind-N-Fly (BNF) Basic version is also available, providing the flexibility to use a preferred Spektrum transmitter.
Note: The kit does not come with a USB-C cable to connect the SLT6 to a PC for the RealFlight RC flight simulator
